Nuku’alofa – November 18, 2021: 3.15pm (Nuku’alofa Times): The Nobles of the Realm have elected nine of their own as their representatives in Parliament, following the Election of Nobles reps at the Palace Office in Nuku’alofa earlier today.
Two new faces will become Members of Parliament in the new parliamentary year.

They are Lord Fohe of Tongatapu and His Serene Highness Prince Kalaunivalu Fotofili of Niu’a.
Elections were held this morning at the Palace Office in Nuku’alofa.

Also making a return to Parliament is Lord Vaea, who missed out in the last election.

Lord Vaea and Lord Fohe replace Lord Ma’afu and Lord Vaha’i respectively for Tongatapu.
Prince Kalaunivalu replaces Lord Fusitu’a, who has given up the opportunity to stand again because he is currently receiving medical care in New Zealand.
Retaining their seats are Lord Tu’ivakano, Lord Nuku, Lord Tu’ihangana, Lord Fakafanua, Lord Tu’iafitu and Lord Tu’ilakepa.
